Mental Health to Emotional Health

The word mental health usually refers to a state of mental well-being. It relates to our ability to think clearly, process information & make logical decisions. Today we have made significant advancements toward understanding the human mind and its effect on health. Many of us even recognise the impact of our emotions on our thought processes. However, our mental state of affairs is like the smoke of burning emotional fires. No matter how much you try to clear this smoke or fog, it is a losing battle unless these fires are burning.

Our unprocessed emotions continue to generate a fixed thinking pattern, retriggering us everywhere we go and unless we take responsibility for these patterns it will continue to drive us. The world has transformed, and so have we. In the wake of the pandemic, we've come to realise that our emotions are an integral part of our human experience—both within and beyond the workplace.

We cannot leave our emotions at the door; we are forced to take them everywhere we go.

Only when we recognise that the journey to post-pandemic recovery involves acknowledging and navigating our emotions in a healthy and supportive way, including at our workplace, we have a real chance to foster a space of professionalism and productivity & value clear communication, focused collaboration, and a respectful work atmosphere.
